Key Responsibilities- Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment by moving the scanner over the specified body area and adjusting the equipment to focus.
- Make hard copy images and document tests.
- Develop film using automatic film processing equipment.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Order and stock all ultrasound supplies.
- Minimum one year experience as an ultrasound technologist/sonographer.
- Certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations.
- Knowledge of ultrasound diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
