About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adults of all ages with a variety of disease processes, including pneumonia and necrotizing fasciitis.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and report patient condition to the healthcare team, including any changes or concerns.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required.
  • Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
  • BLS required, ACLS within 90 days of hire required.
  • 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
