Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient problems, and develop effective interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
- Implement and record interventions, evaluate patient progress, and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Direct and supervise patient care provided by LPNs and support personnel, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to department guidelines.
- Participate in nursing research, identify clinical problems, and assist in data collection to advance nursing science.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State or valid interim permit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- 2-year Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- New graduate or less than one year of experience as a Registered Nurse required.
