Summary:
Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic images under the direction of physicians. Performs routine diagnostic procedures and may be required to function as a Medical Assistant as needed. The individual must align with the organization's mission, values, and culture.

Responsibilities:
Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. The technologist must have basic computer knowledge and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Excellent customer service skills are required. Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking radiographic images following established procedures. Instructs patients regarding procedures. Observes patient's vital signs during examination.

Requirements:
Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or other accepted and approved equivalent required. One year of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred. Current state licensure and certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required. BLS required. Maintains accurate radiology records as directed and logs all procedures completed. Processes routine paperwork and files reports. Ensures department compliance with OSHA. Participates in training employees in equipment operation, patient movement, and quality assurance. Enhances professional growth through education programs, conferences, and workshops.
