Job Summary

Aero Simulation, Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing hands-on electro-mechanical assembly and light fabrication tasks associated with the production and installation of simulation and training devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly and light fabrication tasks
  • Work with a team to produce, install, and modify simulation devices
  • Specialize in auto body paint and perform tasks related to painting and finishing
Requirements
  • Experience with the methods, materials, tools, equipment, and practices of the auto body repair trade
  • Understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions in the auto body repair trade
  • Experience with basic methods, materials, tools, and practices of the automotive mechanic trade
  • Understanding of metals and metal thickness of materials used by manufacturers
  • Experience with basic methods of mixing paint, hardeners, and reducers
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines and multitask
Additional Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to adapt communication style and messaging to different audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 30 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment, including eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud in an open bay manufacturing area.
