Job Summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our Nuclear Manufacturing team. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of time-sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture radioactive isotopes, including synthesis setup and hot cell manipulations
  • Conduct quality control testing of each batch using various equipment, such as gas chromatographs and dose calibrators
  • Work in an ISO 7 cleanroom to prepare product vials and customer vials for drug production
  • Perform environmental and personnel monitoring in various environments
  • Coordinate daily production run schedules based on customer and pharmacy needs
  • Document and maintain accurate records of production and quality control activities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; education in sciences preferred
  • Lab experience highly preferred; prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in a controlled environment and/or regulated industry desired
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and be flexible with scheduling
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills
