About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN - Neuro Acute Care Specialist to join our team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other acute neurological disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and develop strategies to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in acute care nursing, preferably in a neurological or critical care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National certification in a relevant specialty, such as neuroscience or critical care.
