Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at iCare Health Solutions. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced ophthalmology environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various data collection functions as delegated by the physician and/or Clinic Manager to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions.
  • Conduct ophthalmic testing and procedures, including testing and scribing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized exam room environment, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for patients.
  • Monitor patient flow and ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager or physician.
Requirements
  • One year of experience or training in ophthalmology, optometry, or a related healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of working in a multi-specialty environment and willingness to travel between multiple offices as needed.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency in ophthalmic testing.
  • COA or COT Certification is preferred, but not required.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in ophthalmic testing and knowledge of diagnostic equipment.
  • Knowledge of medical and ophthalmic terminology.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
Salary and Benefits

$15 - $18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. iCare Health Solutions offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
