Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical support during integration, testing, and corrective maintenance of the MK-99 Fire Control System (FCS) at various locations, including Pascagoula, Mississippi, and international sites. The incumbent will work closely with the Aegis Test Team Engineers and test operations group to understand testing requirements, needs, and resources needed. Additionally, the incumbent will work with the onsite government In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for MK-99 system to identify any potential issues that need to be corrected to progress testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) for the MK 99 (FCS) system
  • Collaborating with the Aegis Test Team Engineers and test operations group to understand testing requirements, needs, and resources needed
  • Working with the onsite government In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for MK-99 system to identify any potential issues that need to be corrected to progress testing

Requirements
  • Ability to comprehend and understand naval work packages and technical documentations, including the ability to read technical publication manuals
  • US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of military or civilian electronic technical school plus experience
  • Prior Navy with Fire Control System (FCS) experience
  • Experience in other functional equipment areas of the AEGIS weapon system
