Job Overview

At Convenient Appliance Service, we are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Customer Service: Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross-training in related positions, to support the growth and success of our team.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
  • Availability: Flexible and variable hours (no weekends).
