Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist medical technologists with procedural setup, specimen plating, slide staining, etc.
  • Label, process, and distribute specimens according to department standards.
  • Set up lab testing and/or procedures for medical technologists to read.
  • Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and notify appropriate personnel of any issues.


Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have a High School Diploma/GED or 1 year of directly related experience. Additionally, American Heart Association BLS certification is required. You should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
