We are currently seeking a Specialized Equipment Maintenance Technician to provide exceptional service to our clients in the Lexington, KY area.
This role is designed for a candidate residing in or near Lexington, KY, allowing for remote service to our existing clients while also fostering new partnerships with potential organizations.
The successful candidate will be tasked with the maintenance and support of various Scott SCBA and related compressed air products, as well as Hurst equipment, ensuring all services are conducted safely, promptly, and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing regular service visits to customer sites and executing preventative maintenance tasks
- Troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment as necessary
- Efficiently scheduling jobs, planning travel routes, and managing daily responsibilities
- Promoting our services, including maintenance, equipment upgrades, preventative care, and replacement parts
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, possess strong organizational and time management skills, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The ability to work independently with a flexible schedule and proficiency in various computer applications is essential. Previous sales experience is preferred, and candidates should be capable of lifting up to 30lbs without assistance.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in the fire industry, along with familiarity with manufacturer brands related to our equipment lines. The role requires travel for customer meetings, training sessions, participation in regional trade shows, and attendance at company events.
