Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Kentucky. As a key member of our General Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including testing, repairing, and replacing components as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Fabricate and machine components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts, using metal, plastic, and wood materials.
  • Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production, quality, cost, and safety goals.
Requirements
  • 2-year associate's degree in a related field and 1 year of industrial maintenance experience, or 3 years of industrial maintenance/military experience.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, with demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in PLCs, computers, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motion/motor control, welding, and machining.
  • Ability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrical degree, diploma, or certification of completion for studies of electricity.
  • Documentation of any state Journeyman's Electrical License, current or expired.
  • Experience working with and/or repairing robotics.
