We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Specimen Collector to join our team at Medical Profiles, Inc. As a Medical Specimen Collector, you will be responsible for collecting medical specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including offices, clinics, and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect medical specimens from patients in a variety of settings
- Verify patient identities and ensure accurate specimen labeling
- Transport specimens to laboratories for testing
- Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and transport specimens
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in medical specimen collection or a related field
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other relevant regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
