Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair automated industrial manufacturing equipment at customer sites, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, etc.
  • Provide technical support and customer training by phone or on-site
  • Help improve performance of manufacturing processes and/or equipment

Requirements:

  • Be accustomed to a field service work style, traveling daily to local customer sites, occasional travel to regional customer sites, managing your own time and workload
  • A strong desire to work in a customer service-oriented role, caring for customers in crucial factory production shut-down status, with high importance on building and maintaining relationships
  • Experience in a similar role installing, troubleshooting, and testing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, being able to interpret technical drawings, user-manuals and schematics

Education and Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher in engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, or related field) or technical vocational training certificates and/or equivalent experience

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $50,000 – 120,000, depending on years of direct experience
