Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks.
About the RoleThe HR Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring smooth HR processes and positive employee experiences. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Serves as the initial point of contact for the HR department and addresses any employment-related inquiries from employees, and team leaders, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs such as compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Organize employee engagement and wellness programs to maintain a positive work culture.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Administers new employee orientation.
- Performs various administrative tasks such as maintaining employee databases, e-filing, ordering equipment and supplies, and booking any necessary employee travel arrangements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the firm's HRIS and talent management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, required.
- 1+ year of human resources experience, required.
- SHRM, preferred.
- The estimated annual salary range for this role is $45,000-$60,000, based on industry standards and relevant experience.
