Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Middleville Engineered Solutions LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating a 5-axis robotic weld cell and other production machines to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a 5-axis robotic weld cell and other production machines to meet production requirements.
  • Load and unload parts according to instructions and specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations and detect malfunctions or misaligned parts.
  • Stop the machine using emergency stop buttons and report malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Inspect joined components for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Unload parts from the welder and place them in designated containers.
  • Check parts for non-conformance and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Clean the machine and work area during and after production.
  • Participate in machine effectiveness efforts and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Work efficiently to meet and exceed established corporate goals.
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving work problems.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds periodically and 30 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts.
Working Conditions

Exposed to regular plant conditions with dirt, oil, and smoke.

Supervision

Under direct supervision of the Production Supervisor Weld Area.
