Piping Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our team at ConsultNet. As a Piping Designer, you will be responsible for creating and updating unit P&IDs, piping ISOs, and piping design work. You will also support the Training Department and the HSE Department by updating and creating training materials, as well as creating and updating drawings for PSM compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and update unit P&IDs for changes and new construction
  • Perform updates to unit PI&Ds, PFD, and ISOs in support of PSM processes
  • Create and update unit piping ISOs for changes and new construction
  • Create and update unit training drawings
  • Provide technical support to operation, maintenance, and engineers for project design and construction
  • Work with the TAR Team to create piping and structural packages for turnaround projects
  • Provide technical assistance to other AutoCAD and CAD Worx users
  • Manage refinery drawings vault and AutoCAD system
Requirements:
  • Proficient in EDOC, AutoCAD, CADWorx, Excel, and MS Word
  • 8+ years of experience in AutoCAD/CadWorx
  • Ability to interpret application of and apply piping specifications to piping design
  • Strong organizational skills, data base management skills, and ability to work independently on multiple projects
  • Preferred experience in electrical and instrumentation design drawings (Single line, Wiring Diagrams, Loop Diagrams)
  • Preferred experience in structural and civil drawings
