Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager - Food Service Operations to join our team at Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and administering a multi-discipline workforce performing Base Operations Support (BOS) services, including custodial, dining facilities operations, transportation, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Program Manager and provide decision-making authority in their absence.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of all Performance Work Statement (PWS) areas.
  • Oversee all food services operations, ensuring compliance with Military (Tri-Service Food Code/TB Med 530) regulations and governing policies.
  • Support Transportation Dispatch function and create and execute daily and project work plans.
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a contract PWS, establishing procedures and enforcing support standards.
  • Develop and prepare quality assurance procedures, ensuring required documentation is complete, current, and properly filed.
  • Deal with customer service complaints and mitigation, developing and enforcing contract safety standards.
  • Utilize Government vehicle in support of service, following up on suspense items to ensure timely completion.
  • Complete all training within required timelines, performing all work in a safe and secure manner.
  • Consistently produce quality products and services, performing all assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and directives.
Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Designated Food Service Manager certification with 5 years of specialized experience with the Army Food Service Program.
  • 5 years of specialized industry experience in operating administrative or managerial activities for a combination of facilities supporting functions directly related to Government industrial operations.
  • Knowledge of Military (Tri-Service Food Code/TB Med 530) regulations and governing policies.
  • Ability to work in a team, or alone, and be able to change jobs on short notice.
  • Possess and demonstrate a courteous and positive attitude toward customers.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and operating instructions.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for successful completions of assigned tasks.
  • Must possess a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Must possess an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.
  • Must possess an analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
  • Displays courtesy and skill in dealing with internal and external customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
  • Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
  • Must be able to perform on-call duties 24/7.
  • Must be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer, to include weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds or more on a regular basis.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
