">The Opportunity
">We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating with the Property Manager and General Manager to direct and supervise building staff and vendors. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to exercise prudent judgment in the absence of supervisory personnel.
">Responsibilities:
">- Financial Reporting: Participate in the preparation of financial and management reports, monitor collections, and coordinate default proceedings.">
- Operating Expenses: Assist in monitoring operating expenses and capital budgets, prepare and administer operating expense recoveries and adjustments.">
- Maintenance Programs: Participate with maintenance staff to develop 5-year capital plans.">
- Customer Service: Participate in the Customer Service Tenant Satisfaction survey process.">
- Goal Tracking: Track progress of goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets; generate reports on status.">
- Facility Operations: Oversee facility operations, including maintenance programs, vendor contracts, building inspections, construction/TI administration, emergency response & preparedness, and regulatory compliance.">
- Lease Administration: Coordinate with Property Manager/General Manager on lease administration functions.">
- Housekeeping/Janitorial: Oversee Housekeeping/Janitorial efforts.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Experience: One to three years of hands-on real estate management experience.">
- Education: High school diploma or GED.">
- Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with accounting principles & practices, preferably in real estate.">
- Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficient knowledge of MS Office applications (Word & Excel a must) and accounting software.">
- Communication: Strong communication and customer service skills (oral & written).">
- Judgment: Ability to exercise prudent judgment in the absence of supervisory personnel.">
- MATH: Attention to detail and strong aptitude for mathematics.">
- Multitasking: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion, ability to multi-task.">
