Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in Brenham, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of improving the health of those we serve.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, using clinical reasoning and best practices to inform care planning and goal setting.
- Participate in evaluating nursing practice effectiveness and quality, reviewing and examining specific indicators in nursing.
- Create a caring, safe, healing, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
- Manage pain, promote comfort, and minimize suffering for patients.
- Facilitate education for patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members, as well as the community.
- Work collaboratively with others to implement care plans under RN/provider direction, including team members and community.
- Employ strategies and utilize available resources to solve problems for patients, their families, and staff.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Nursing field of study
- Less than a year of experience in a similar role
- Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License
- Basic Life Support certification (can be acquired within the first 30 days)
