Licensed Vocational Nurse

At HIGH HOPE CARE CENTER, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team.
Job Summary:The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Nursing Care: Prepare and administer medications, monitor resident activity, and provide nursing care according to physician's orders and care plans.
- Supervise CNA Staff: Supervise and train Certified Nursing Assistant staff in the delivery of direct resident care.
- Coordinate Resident Care: Coordinate and assist with new admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Communicate with Residents and Families: Communicate with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals regarding resident status and care plans.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and nurses' notes.
- Licensure: Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Physical and Sensory Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
