The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and analyzing laboratory experimentation to purify, isolate, and analyze APIs, intermediates, and natural extracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing laboratory experiments to analyze and purify APIs, intermediates, and natural extracts.
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and performing techniques such as HPLC, UHPLC, and GC.
  • Preparing and communicating scientific and technical presentations, updates, and reports.
  • Collaborating with Sr. Process Development Scientist and Project Coordinator to prepare proposals.
  • Supporting business development and engineering teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience with and knowledge of analytical and preparative chromatography.
  • Experience using HPLC/UHPLC instruments and related software such as Empower, Waters, and Agilent.
  • Understanding of common R&D and manufacturing practices and regulations regarding PPEs, handling solvents, and chemicals.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time while undertaking benchwork.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $65,000.
  • Full-time, permanent role.
  • Full benefits, PTO included, permanent position.
