Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit proficiency in the relevant OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Capable of executing tasks associated with Supply Chain Technician, Senior Technician, and Technician Lead roles.
  • Oversee all supply and equipment inventory, ensuring adherence to ERP processes.
  • Demonstrate mastery of INFOR modules relevant to the role, including Par Specialist, Purchasing Receiver, Inventory Management, Warehouse Clerk, and Mobile Supply Chain Management.
  • Assist in managing the operational aspects of Supply Chain functions, including central supply, receiving, and distribution.
  • Analyze item usage reports and recommend adjustments to inventory levels.
  • Support the supervisor/manager/director in procurement and consignment management.
  • Participate in annual inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate on process enhancements related to Supply Chain operations.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide guidance as necessary.
  • Conduct weekly assessments of inventory valuations, turnover rates, conversions, and INR reports.
  • Mentor local Materials Management teams to foster professional growth.
  • Engage in cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor, rotate, and transfer stock to prevent expiration of supplies.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts.
  • Plan for optimal personnel utilization within departments.
  • Assist departments in obtaining quotes for contracted supplies and equipment.
  • Track compliance with supply contracts for the region and provide regular updates to management.
  • Identify opportunities for operational and system improvements, particularly in customer service.
  • Be prepared to work extended or irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and Supply Chain Applications.
  • Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Effectively present information and engage with hospital executives.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Thrive in a complex, dynamic work environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Interact effectively with individuals, including those in high-stress situations.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience is recommended.
  • 3-4 years of experience in supply chain management is strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Infor and Epic, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical products and equipment is advantageous.
  • Experience in hospital supply chain operations is preferred.
  • Experience in developing and documenting policies and procedures is beneficial.
