Role Overview

The Radiology Imaging Specialist will be responsible for executing radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures that assist in the identification of medical conditions. This role also offers the chance to broaden your expertise through cross-training in various operational areas of the clinic.

Primary Duties
  • Welcome patients warmly, ensuring their comfort and addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
  • Implement safety measures to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
  • Review and process imaging results while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Follow established radiology protocols and organizational policies
  • Conduct routine maintenance on imaging equipment and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Foster a safe and secure working environment by adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Associate degree from an accredited two-year college or equivalent educational background
  • Prior experience or training in a related field is advantageous
  • Preferred certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
