Physician - Primary Care Specialist

Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team as a Primary Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct primary care to client company employees and family members, working 4 days a week in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients, including occupational health services as needed.
- Conduct thorough histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, educate and advise on medical issues as needed.
- Provide referrals to appropriate medical resources or specialties, evaluate the effectiveness of medical care, and monitor patient progress.
- Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives, maintain accurate medical records, and formulate and administer health programs as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the site is located.
- Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine, or Board Eligible with certification exam within 12 months of hire.
- Current state and federal DEA certification, and current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification may be required for some positions.
- Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
