Restaurant Depot operates as a wholesale cash-and-carry foodservice distributor dedicated to delivering exceptional Savings, Selection & Service, 7 Days a Week. Our clientele includes independent restaurants, caterers, and not-for-profits, for whom we provide the right products at competitive prices in the necessary quantities every day. As a privately-owned, multi-billion-dollar entity, we manage over 150 warehouses & distribution centers across 37 states.

Position Summary:

The Meat Stock Associate is responsible for delivering prompt and courteous customer service, efficiently stocking products on shelves, and ensuring clean and safe work environments throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
  • Unload boxes from pallets and place them on shelves, as well as open boxes to restock items.
  • Organize and front face items on shelves for optimal presentation.
  • Conduct inspections to comply with HACCP regulations.
  • Assist in daily inventory reviews for product rotation to minimize shrinkage and damages.
  • Ensure shelf pricing is accurate and reflects the latest pricing updates.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse through a regular cleaning schedule, including scrubbing and moving pallets to clean underneath.
  • Continuously monitor department floors for safety hazards, promptly addressing spills and removing trash.
  • Collaborate with Hi-Lo operators to keep the selling floor stocked and safe by returning overstock pallets to overhead reserves.
  • Notify supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock items.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk or stand on concrete for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Frequent turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and bending.
  • Regularly push or pull objects weighing between 500 to 1,500 lbs.
  • Frequently lift or carry objects weighing more than 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to cold or freezing temperatures.
  • Work involves equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).
  • May be required to perform other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Flexibility to work in other departments as needed.
