Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including pre-admission, financial counseling, and insurance verification. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient registration and pre-admission processes
  • Provide financial counseling and insurance verification
  • Coordinate unscheduled admissions and transfers
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Variable shift work, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Office equipment and software proficiency
  • Multi-line telephone system experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
  • Medical terminology and insurance program knowledge
  • Registration, scheduling, and/or authorization process experience
  • Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese language proficiency
