Home Health Occupational Therapist Opportunity

At Interim HealthCare of the Black Hills, we're committed to delivering personalized, home-based therapy to patients in need. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and learn to perform everyday activities in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to an illness or injury
  • Work as part of a home health team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assess patient deficits, establish therapy goals, and document progress
  • Assist patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination
  • Suggest adaptive equipment to offer added support
  • Educate patients and families on plan of care, exercises, and self-care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and active OT license in South Dakota
  • Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and compassion
