Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Bemidji Occupational Medicine. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents and patients develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify residents' and patients' needs and develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Evaluate and assess residents' and patients' abilities to perform daily tasks and develop realistic goals for improvement.
  • Document residents' and patients' information and establish therapeutic plans to ensure effective treatment.
  • Provide education and training to residents, patients, and staff to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in occupational therapy and incorporate this knowledge into daily treatment.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
  • Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • When working at a Sanford Health Facility, must also be certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
