Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Texas Works Advisor I (TWA I) / Medical Eligibility Specialist I (MES I) / Hospital Based Worker I (HBW I) to join our dynamic team. As a TWA I, you will receive paid formal training to perform essential job functions, including interviewing applicants and recipients, evaluating data, computing and authorizing benefits, and processing work in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to learn policy regulations, and effective communication skills. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, and experience in an environment interviewing clients and gathering personal information is preferred.
Location and Work Environment
