Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery to join our team at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the management of orthopaedic hip pathology, with a strong commitment to musculoskeletal research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the management of orthopaedic hip pathology
  • Conduct research in musculoskeletal health and disease
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in orthopaedic surgery
  • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • MD degree and board eligibility or certification in orthopaedic surgery
  • Fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery with a focus on hip preservation
  • Experience in clinical research and academic productivity
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
