Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team in Marlborough, MA. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for software testing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts using ABB DCS graphical programming interface, Process Engineering Flow Scheme (PEFS), and Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID).
  • Apply software testing methodologies like Compatibility Testing, Regression Testing, and tools such as Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Command Prompt (CMD.exe), TeamViewer, Task Manager, Check Disk (CHKDSK), and best practices to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using diagnostic utilities, remote desktop tools, and knowledge of operating systems and software applications.
  • Assist in developing software and troubleshooting applications like Production Database (PDB), Microsoft Dynamics NAV, O365, and Jet Reports by applying updates, patches, or configuration changes with the use of database management systems like Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and solve software issues using system logs, PowerShell, CMD, debugging utilities, and remote diagnostic tools like Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or a foreign equivalent degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
