Overview: As a Software Test Engineer specializing in Control Systems at Trimble AgIS, you will engage with advanced technologies tailored for vehicle systems within the agriculture and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the evolution of testing methodologies within simulation environments.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans across multiple levels.
- Establish a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing framework.
- Create test cases and perform evaluations on actual vehicles.
- Gather and interpret data logs for performance analysis.
- Work collaboratively with the development team to enhance product quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in control system testing.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Expertise in Matlab/Simulink and Python programming.
- Familiarity with testing, verification, and validation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with J1939 or NMEA2000 CAN communication protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 12 years of relevant industry experience.
- Control systems experience across diverse sectors.
- Knowledge of HIL and SIL testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in Linux environments and C++ programming.
- Experience in developing safety-critical software.
