About the Department

The department comprises Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Channels, and Sales Operations, all collaborating to assist our clients in adopting Cloudflare and creating exceptional Internet-enabled experiences.

The sales division at Cloudflare addresses real technical challenges while generating revenue streams that allow the company to offer free services to millions within our community.

Key Responsibilities

You will collaborate closely with our Partners Team and Solutions Engineers to ensure the success of Cloudflare's strategic alliances. Your strong relationship-building skills, product expertise, project management capabilities, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in maintaining a top-tier partner and customer experience.

Your role will involve:

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of our partners' businesses and advocating for the features and functionalities most crucial to their specific needs.
  • Being accountable for the retention and growth of your assigned accounts through consistent communication and collaboration with our Partner teams, showcasing the value of our products and services during regular reviews.
  • Managing the partnership lifecycle, including initial launches, technical integrations, ongoing health assessments, product roadmaps, and partnership renewals.
  • Facilitating partner enablement on processes and engagement models while sharing relevant resources.
  • Working with your Partner account teams to strategize and implement long-term account plans aimed at retention and growth through product and new business unit expansion.
  • Building and sustaining long-term relationships with stakeholders in your account portfolio.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing, and other teams to address partner business challenges and work towards their objectives.
  • Collecting partner feedback and product requirements to relay feature requests to internal teams.

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Partner Success, Customer Success, or Account Management role focused on enterprise accounts.
  • Experience in project management and account portfolio planning and prioritization.
  • The ability to prioritize, multitask, and solve problems effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with an executive presence.
  • A proven track record of successful planning and execution of Executive Business Reviews.
  • A basic understanding of computer networking and internet functionality.
  • A curiosity to learn about the cloud security and performance industry.
  • An understanding of application, server, and network security is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce and Gainsight) is a plus.
