Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Cath Lab team at Next Move Healthcare.

This full-time position offers day shifts and an opportunity to work in a dynamic, rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality interventional radiology (IR) procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and other interventional radiology exams, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to safety protocols, radiation safety, infection control, and proper sterile techniques.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by positioning them, adjusting equipment, and ensuring proper immobilization and exposure settings.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Maintain equipment by performing quality control checks and coordinating with engineers and physicists for repairs and optimization.
  • Accurately document and maintain patient records, including requisitions, patient histories, and consent forms.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians and nurses, to ensure quality care throughout procedures.
  • Take call when required and respond to emergencies promptly.
  • Serve as a preceptor, providing training and support to new team members.
Qualifications:
  • ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is required.
  • Must be certified in one of the following within two (2) years of hire:
  • ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI)
  • ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI)
  • ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV)
  • Ability to take call when required.
