Job Overview

The Mold Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of high cavitation, high precision plastic injection molds in a manufacturing environment.

With a strong background in tool making or mold maintenance, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality assurance tasks to meet the needs of our client. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a plastic injection mold maker or mold maintenance specialist, or recent graduation with a tool maker apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing regular maintenance and repairs on high cavitation plastic injection molds
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensuring quality assurance standards are met in the production process
  • Collaborating with the production team to achieve efficient workflow and productivity

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a plastic injection mold maker or mold maintenance specialist
  • Tool maker apprenticeship or relevant training
  • Knowledge of hot runner mold systems is a plus
  • Experience working in a high precision manufacturing environment

Compensation Package:

This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive salary of $27-35/hour, depending on experience, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, disability, HSA, FSA, 401K with matching, employee assistance programs, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, and paid vacation time.
