The Search UX team is dedicated to researching, designing, and enhancing user experiences within Search, aiming to build user trust and elevate satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect updates from team members and maintain project timelines, roadmaps, and documentation to ensure projects remain on schedule.
2. Identify interdependencies among managed programs and assess areas for improved prioritization with clear justifications.
3. Assist the UX lead in delivering organized and comprehensive documentation of project scope, plans, and stakeholder feedback at various stages.
4. Manage communication within core and extended project teams, as well as with functional and regional leaders as necessary. This includes asset requests, feedback acquisition, action item organization, and approval processes.
5. Provide consistent updates to the UX PgM Lead, emphasizing progress, challenges, and potential solutions. This role requires adept context-switching, making timely reporting essential for success and efficiency.
Required Experience:
- Over 8 years of Program Management experience in UX Design or Product Operations.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and create structured solutions.
- Proactive self-starter capable of driving work independently.
- Experience managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Essential Skills:
Project Management:
- Oversee daily operations across a high-performing UX and cross-functional team, including task tracking, milestone management, resource allocation, prioritization, and escalation management to maintain project velocity and achieve roadmap goals.
Process Enhancement:
- Collaborate with UX leads and PgM leads to identify obstacles at the project and program levels, design and implement effective solutions, and support process improvements that enhance velocity, cohesion, and overall team performance.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Ensure clear and consistent coordination and communication across teams working towards shared objectives, fostering shared knowledge, alignment, and cohesion to improve team effectiveness and product quality.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
