Merchandise Associate Port Saint Lucie

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our team at Marshalls in Port Saint Lucie. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and embodying our customer experience principles and philosophy.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.
- Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customers according to established operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers.
- Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
- Possess strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Works effectively with peers and supervisors.

This position has a starting pay range of $12.00 to $12.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
