We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Care Specialist to join our team at Northern Pines Assisted Living Facility. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of dignity and respect.
- Assist with medication administration, following established protocols and procedures.
- Participate in housekeeping and laundry tasks, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for residents.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring residents receive quality care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and colleagues, promoting open and respectful communication.
- Experience working with older adults, preferably in a care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to administer medications and perform medical treatments, as ordered by a physician.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to changing resident needs.
