About the Role

Munson Healthcare is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes. As an Occupational Therapist at Munson Healthcare, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum functional independence and safety in their home environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional status, activities of daily living, coordination, and home environment
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet patients' rehabilitative needs
  • Teach compensatory strategies, caregiver training, and implement adaptive equipment to support patients in meeting their goals
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve the lives of patients, families, and their communities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association and the American Medical Association
  • Current registration by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board or eligibility for immediate registration, as well as current registration with the State of Michigan
  • One year of clinical experience required, home health care experience preferred
  • Possess current Michigan motor vehicle license, ability to drive a car, and insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices under various weather conditions
