Transport Operations Manager

PIPESTONE is seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and professional management of onsite operations, including employee management, truck wash, and trucking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all operational aspects of Midwest Transport, including managing transportation and truck wash employees, equipment, and implementing biosecurity protocols.
- Oversee and organize trailer maintenance for DOT compliance and perform light mechanical work.
- Work closely with the biosecurity team to understand expectations and implement necessary protocols.
- Audit the cleanliness of trucks and trailers.
- Supervise onsite truck wash facilities to maintain a professional appearance.
- Lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to help when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous managerial experience preferred.
- Commercial driver's license required.
- Good people skills.
Work Environment:
Will include time washing trucks/trailers in a wet environment. Protective clothing is provided. Noise levels may require hearing protection.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, and ability to be on feet 8 to 10 hours per day. Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling. Frequent use of one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull. Frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Occasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds or requiring up to 50 pounds of force to move. Occasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds or requiring up to 100 pounds of force to move with assistance.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work occasional weekends and evenings. Must maintain a valid driver's CDL.
