Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team of medical imaging professionals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform radiology procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification and CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) licensure.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in diagnostic radiology.
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position with variable days and hours.
  • May require working in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
  • Must be able to prioritize assignments and work independently.
