We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist II- Imaging to join our team at Sutter Health.

Job Summary:

The Mammography Technologist II- Imaging is responsible for competently performing routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. This role requires sound judgment, developed clinical skills, and effective communication to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
  • May be responsible for orienting other staff to the department

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist upon hire
  • RHM-Radiology Mammography upon hire
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • 2 years recent relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to perform routine mammographic examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $66.01 to $82.50 per hour
