Core Inspector Job Description

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., a leading Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Core Inspector to join our team of experienced parts professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and inspect cores according to Caterpillar's core acceptance criteria
  • Communicate effectively with the Core Processor to ensure seamless core processing
  • Process core returns with detailed information as needed
  • Assign case numbers to cores and update DBSi, creating worn core documents
  • Weigh cases and record for shipping
  • Operate a forklift and load core return trucks safely and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Technical school, military school, or equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable to the company
