Job Summary

As a School Psychologist with Fulton County Schools, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional well-being of students. This position involves providing a continuum of psychological services to students, teachers, and parents, with a focus on promoting academic success and social-emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with school personnel to identify students who require additional support
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess student learning and behavior difficulties
  • Develop and implement intervention plans to support student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective communication and support
  • Participate in special education eligibility meetings and provide psychological services to students
  • Conduct data collection and evaluation to inform program development and improvement

Requirements

Education
Master's Degree in School Psychology

Certification/Licensure
Must hold or be eligible for S-5 certification in school psychology

Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in the psychology field

Skills
Proficiency in administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological instruments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions
Office and school environment

Routine physical activity associated with normal office and school environment
