About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Sales Specialist to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Tire Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle sizes and recommending suitable options.
  • Properly install and repair tires, ensuring accurate and safe mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized tire bay, merchandising tire displays and automotive products.
  • Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk, addressing their concerns and escalating issues as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and complete supply inventory, understanding and utilizing available special-order tire programs.
  • Comply with safety and cleanliness standards, utilizing tire bay equipment effectively.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
  • Prior tire installation experience preferred, with ability to pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
  • Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. You will be standing and moving continuously, with frequent need to bend, climb, crawl, kneel, push, pull, reach, move side to side, stoop, and climb ladders/step stools.
