Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled UCC Process Specialist to join our growing UCC team. This role will play a critical part in the proactive management of risk in our portfolio and participation in corresponding government loan programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • File UCC documents, including financing statements, assignments, amendments, continuations, terminations, and information statements, with state and local agencies.
  • Obtain good standings and corporate documents.
  • Conduct UCC, tax, judgment lien, civil litigation, criminal, and bankruptcy searches and document retrievals.
  • Compile, review, and analyze search results to produce UCC, tax, judgment, and bankruptcy search reports.
  • Obtain copies of miscellaneous public record documents at the federal, state, and county level.
  • Coordinate and utilize our vendor application to perform UCC lien, tax lien, judgment lien, and bankruptcy searches and filings at the federal, state, and county level.
  • Respond to and resolve incoming borrower, vendor, and correspondent requests, queries, issues, and concerns via email.
  • Efficiently manage the entire order process from initial client inquiry through processing, invoicing, and follow-up.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding UCC, lien, and litigation/bankruptcy services.
  • Respond to inquiries related to UCC issues from all levels of the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on day-to-day policy and procedure.
  • Meet turn time requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 4-year college degree or relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Experience pulling record searches and information directly from state/county level sites.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and compile data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Pro.
  • Effective organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Prioritization and operating with a sense of urgency.
  • Initiative to accomplish work objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
