Job Overview

Norco, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cylinder Repair and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of refillable cylinders used in various applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the loading and unloading of cylinders for testing and completion.
  • Conduct initial visual inspections of cylinders, ensuring proper identification of contents.
  • Utilize shot blasting techniques on cylinders before proceeding to subsequent tasks.
  • Re-qualify acetylene cylinders following established safety protocols.
  • Perform necessary repairs and re-valving of cylinders in accordance with industry standards.
  • Apply paint to cylinders as required, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies diligently.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Compensation

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods.
  • Able to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Attention to detail is crucial; must maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with cylinders and industrial gases is advantageous.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
