Unit DescriptionThe Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is a specialized 12-bed facility dedicated to the care of critically ill patients.
Our nursing team provides comprehensive care for individuals experiencing severe cardiac conditions, including but not limited to:
- Acute myocardial infarction
- Cardiogenic shock
- Congestive heart failure
We also manage patients with complex cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, and life-threatening arrhythmias.
Patients requiring post-operative care following cardiac surgeries are transferred to the appropriate recovery units.

Education: Associate's degree in nursing required. Candidates with an Associate's degree may be considered if enrolled in a BSN/MSN program within one year of hire.
Licensure: Active RN license required.
Certifications: BLS CPR certification from an accepted provider.
Experience: Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience is necessary.
